Microsoft Forms
The survey tool included in your Microsoft 365 subscription: quick to create, with results directly in Excel. Basic, but already included.
Microsoft Forms is the form and survey tool from the Microsoft 365 suite. You can create surveys, quizzes, and polls in minutes, share them via link or QR code, and see all responses live in the dashboard or directly in Excel.
In everyday business, it primarily covers internal use cases: employee surveys, training quizzes, Christmas party registrations, and post-workshop feedback. The real advantage is its tight integration with Teams, SharePoint, and Power Automate, as every new response can directly trigger a workflow there.
Compared to Typeform or Jotform, Forms clearly falls short in terms of design: limited branding, minimal logic, no payments or signatures. But the cost makes sense. Typeform starts at around 25 Euros per month, while Forms is already included in your Microsoft 365 subscription.
Perfectly adequate for internal surveys and quick polls in companies that already use Microsoft 365. For customer-facing forms with branding and logic, you'd opt for Typeform, Jotform, or Heyflow.
