Typically, it handles monthly marketing reports from Google Ads and GA4, sales figures from Sheets, and larger analyses from BigQuery. With over 600 connectors, it also integrates with third-party tools, and gallery templates save you from starting from scratch. Its key strength: reports are live and shareable like a Google Doc, eliminating the need to send PDFs to your boss.
While Power BI handles large data models better and Tableau offers more refined visualizations, both require licenses and more extensive training. Looker Studio's weakness: it can become sluggish with numerous data sources, and serious data preparation should ideally be handled in a data warehouse beforehand.
