In everyday use, Firefly shines less at generating complete artworks and more at extending and repairing: Generative Fill in Photoshop, swapping backgrounds, adapting images to new formats. The web app now bundles more than 30 models, including partner models from other providers.
Midjourney produces more spectacular images, and pure generation tools often yield results faster. Firefly plays to its strengths within the Adobe workflow; however, you effectively need a Creative Cloud subscription for it, and the credit system remains opaque because consumption per action is difficult to predict.
