How magier generated €20,000 MRR from LinkedIn engagement in one month

The magier team regularly posts on LinkedIn and gets strong engagement, but no one systematically used these valuable leads. With an automated process, bakedwith transformed passive engagement into active customer acquisition.

The customer

magier offers design as a subscription model, a service that enables leading companies to scale their design tasks faster, more reliably, and with the highest quality without having to hire their own designers. The team understands the importance of content marketing: several team members regularly post on LinkedIn about design, web development, UX, and digital strategies. The posts are high-quality, and the engagement rates are impressive—hundreds of likes, comments, and shares per post.

But despite this visibility, one question remained unanswered: Who are all these people interacting with the posts? Do they fit the ideal customer profile? And how could this passive interest be turned into active business relationships?

The problem: wasted potential in every post

The magier team invested a lot of time in high-quality LinkedIn content. The strategy was clear: build reach, showcase expertise, wait for potential customers to come to you. And that worked, to a certain extent. The posts reached thousands of people, generated impressions, and occasionally brought in inquiries.

But the vast majority of engagement simply fizzled out. Hundreds of people liked, commented on, and shared the posts, but no one systematically looked at who these people actually were. Are they decision-makers from suitable companies? Do they work in relevant positions? Do they currently have a need for design or development services?

The information was all there, publicly available on LinkedIn. But it wasn't being used. Why? Because the manual effort involved was simply too great. Clicking through hundreds of profiles after every post, researching companies, evaluating whether they were a good fit, finding contact details, writing personalized messages. That would have taken several hours a day. Time that the team didn't have and that wouldn't have been particularly fulfilling.

The result was a classic inbound strategy: generate reach and hope that the right people come to you. No proactive outreach, no systematic lead qualification, no structured follow-up process. A lot of potential left on the table.

The solution: From passive engagement to active lead generation

bakedwith worked with magier to develop a fully automated process that turns every LinkedIn post into a source of qualified leads. The system works in the background, turning engagement into business opportunities without the team having to lift a finger.

Here's how the process works in detail:

Step 1: Collect engagement data

As soon as a magier team member publishes a new post on LinkedIn, the system starts working. It automatically pulls all profiles that have interacted with the post – whether through a like, comment, or share. This list of LinkedIn profiles forms the basis for everything else.

Step 2: Enrich data

Now it gets interesting. The system retrieves additional information for each of these profiles:

  • Which company does the person work for?
  • What position do they hold there?
  • How big is the company?
  • What industry is it in?
  • Where is it located geographically?

This data enrichment provides the context needed for evaluation.

Step 3: Intelligent scoring

This is where the decisive filter comes in. The system assigns two independent scores:

Company score (0-100): Does the company fit magier's ideal customer profile (ICP)? Criteria include, for example:

  • Company size (not too small, not too large)
  • Industry (tech, e-commerce, SaaS preferred)
  • Growth phase (scale-ups particularly interesting)
  • Budget indicators (e.g., existing digital presence)

Person Score (0-100): Is the person responsible for such decisions? Criteria include:

  • Position (CMO, Head of Marketing, Product Owner, etc.)
  • Area of responsibility (design, web, digital, branding)
  • Decision-making authority (senior roles preferred)

Only if both scores are above 70 do we proceed. This means that the company is a perfect fit AND the person is the right contact. No time is wasted on unsuitable leads.

Step 4: Personalization

An individual icebreaker sentence is generated for each qualified lead. The system analyzes:

  • The original post that was interacted with
  • The person's profile (current projects, posts, interests)
  • The company and its current situation

This results in a personalized opening that shows: “We've seen that you're interested in topic X, and we have expertise in exactly that.”

Step 5: Automated contact

The qualified lead is now moved to a LinkedIn automation. The system:

  • Sends a contact request with a personal message (if not already connected)
  • Visits the person's profile (subtle attention signal)
  • Likes a recent post by the person (no older than 30 days)
  • Sends a follow-up message after the request is accepted

Everything appears natural and human, even though it is fully automated. The interactions are staggered, the messages are personalized, and the touchpoints are well thought out.

Best of all, the entire system works in the background. The magier team continues to do what it does best—create high-quality content. The rest happens automatically.

“We have been actively posting on LinkedIn for a long time, but it was only with the bakedwith system that reach turned into truly measurable revenue. Today, lead generation runs virtually in the background while we focus on creating quality content.”

The results: Reach turns into revenue

The figures after the first month were impressive:

  • Over €20,000 MRR generated in the first month after implementation
  • Hundreds of qualified leads automatically identified and approached
  • Significantly higher conversion rate than with traditional outbound approaches, as the leads had already interacted with the content
  • Zero manual work for the magier team, the process is completely automated

What was previously a pure inbound strategy (“build reach and wait”) is now a hybrid approach: the posts continue to generate visibility and attract customers organically. At the same time, the system uses each post as a starting point for proactive, qualified outreach activities.

The effect is twofold: greater reach AND more direct business opportunities. Engagement on posts no longer serves only the algorithm, but becomes a real sales channel. Every like, every comment is now a potential business relationship that the system systematically pursues.

“We always knew that our content was well received,” explains the magier team. “But we never thought it would lead to such concrete business opportunities. The system turns our content strategy into a sales machine without us having to change our style or become pushy.”

Particularly valuable: the leads are already pre-qualified. Anyone who responds to a post about UX design and then receives a message on exactly that topic is much more open to a conversation than with cold outbound marketing. The engagement rate of the messages is significantly above the average for classic LinkedIn outreach campaigns.

What we learned

Engagement is worth its weight in gold when used correctly. Every post with good engagement sits on a treasure trove of potential customers. However, most companies never look at this data systematically. Yet it is publicly available and highly relevant.

Timing is everything. People who have just interacted with a post are in the right mindset. They are thinking about the topic right now. This is the perfect moment to make relevant contact, not weeks later.

Quality beats quantity. The scoring system filters radically. Many leads fall through the cracks because either the company or the person is not a perfect fit. That's intentional. Better to have 20 highly qualified conversations than 200 unsuitable contacts.

Automation requires intelligence. Simply contacting everyone who has liked something would be spam. The combination of data enrichment, scoring, and personalization makes the difference between annoying mass messaging and relevant outreach.

Hybrid strategies work best. magier has not replaced the inbound strategy, but complemented it. Content continues to generate organic inquiries. At the same time, the system uses the same content as the basis for proactive outreach. The best of both worlds.
